Public raises pitch for improvement of Silchar-Jayantia road

SILCHAR, Jan 9: The residents of the Kambar Bazar and Babur Bazar areas under Katigorah and Borkhola constituencies expressed their disappointment at the dilapidated Silchar-Jayantia road which connects Silchar with Jarailtola LPG Bottling Plant, 92 BSF Battalion Camp, BG Sleeper Factory and several stone quarries. Reiterating its demand to immediately repair this important route, the Silchar-Jayantia PWD Sarak Sanskar Dabi Committee submitted a memorandum addressed to the Deputy Commissioner.
